The Wooloowin Worksite is located on the block of land bound by Park Road, Rose Street and Kent Road at Wooloowin.
An access shaft approx 12m in diameter x 42m deep was constructed at the Wooloowin site, providing direct access to the Airport Link tunnel for roadheader excavation of the caverns and mechanical and electrical fit-out of the tunnels.
The Wooloowin worksite will be operational for 29 months and does not represent a change to the project’s design. At the end of the 29 months the land will be reinstated.
