Electronic tolling keeps you moving

To minimise stopping, slowing and lane changing, Airport Link will have no toll booths.

Motorists will be able to pay their toll at highway speeds using the Airport Link electronic toll system. 

Toll fees to travel on Airport Link will vary depending on which entries and exits you use. The Airport Roundabout Upgrade will not be tolled.

Regular customers will be able to open a pre-paid account and receive an electronic tag to attach to their car windscreen. The tag will detect each trip on Airport Link and the toll will be deducted from your account.

These tags will work on every toll road in Australia, and if you already have a tag it will work on Airport Link. 

If you only use the toll road occasionally, you could have a non-tag account that will calculate your toll by tracking an image of your licence plate whenever you drive on Airport Link. There will also be products available to cater for one-off trips. 

Tolling products and special incentives will be displayed on this site in the lead-up to the opening of Airport Link in 2012.
