Airport Roundabout Upgrade
The Airport Roundabout Upgrade (ARU) is a critical project to solve traffic issues at South-East Queensland's most congested intersection, with construction commencing in April 2009, four months ahead of schedule.
For construction efficiencies and better value for the State, the ARU project is being delivered together with Airport Link and Northern Busway (Windsor to Kedron).
The Upgrade is scheduled for completion in late 2011, prior to the opening of the Airport Link toll road, and will handed back to the Department of Main Roads.
Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to motorists by scheduling construction works outside peak times.
